​What to Expect at Your Appointment

You are important to us and so is your cake! We would love to meet with you to discuss the details about your wedding cake. This is a one hour appointment where you will have the opportunity to sample a variety of our most popular wedding cake flavors and chat about your wedding cake. Instead of just picking a design from a book, we LOVE to come up with new and creative custom ideas to create your dream wedding cake! We enjoy brainstorming with you, figuring out your style and then coming up with something truly unique and special just for you and your fiance. Plus, it’s just plain fun! Who doesn’t want to try samples of cake? 

 

Who Should Attend the Meeting?

I recommend the wedding couple comes alone or they can bring up to 2 guests. The more people who come can be overwhelming when you are trying to make decisions. Our seating comfortably allows for up to 4 people attending in addition to myself.

Be Prepared to Show us Your Vision

Please be sure to bring anything that you think will show the vision for your wedding - pictures, Pinterest ideas, color scheme, invitations, fabric swatches, etc. I want to get a good vision of what you imagine your dream wedding to look like so that I can create a design that I know you will love.

 

Pricing 

Just so you're prepared, our wedding cake prices range from $5-15 per serving. Most clients spend an average of $7-10 per serving. We do have a $500 minimum for wedding orders. (See our FAQ's page for more info)

 

Cake Tasting Fee

We charge a $20 wedding cake tasting fee. If you choose to book us for your wedding (which most people do at that meeting), that fee will go towards your wedding cake deposit. 

 

Payments

To place an order, we require a minimum deposit of $100 as your "Save the Date" retainer to secure your wedding date. 30 days after the Save the Date deposit, the first 50% is due (minus the Save the Date deposit already paid). Then the remaining 50% balance will due by one month before your wedding. We do also offer monthly payment plans, or options to break payments into smaller amounts if that is better for you. We accept cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and Venmo. Our preferred payment method is cash, but each of those options are accepted. 

Where will we meet?

We will be meeting in Moorpark, CA. We are a private cake studio open by appointment only. We will send you the address when your appointment is booked.
